Castlevania - Lords of Shadow

Dope Ass Game!!

Story - Spoiler

The character Gabriel searches for someone known as Pan[23][24] (voiced by Aleksander Mikic[25]), at the Lake of the Oblivion, where he is told that the living there can communicate with the dead.[26]Gabriel says the Brotherhood of Light sent him because they dreamt that a message from his deceased wife, Marie, awaits him there, holding a clue to the world's salvation.[27][28] With Pan's permission, Gabriel crosses the lake and communicates with her. She informs him that Spirits who founded the Brotherhood of Light are attempting to tell her that the power of the Lords of Shadow will save the world.[29] After Marie disappears, a man from the Brotherhood of Light called Zobek introduces himself to Gabriel as an old acquaintance of Pan.[30] Zobek states that a prophecy has been kept a secret by a select few, and that it tells of a pure-hearted warrior who will claim the Lords of Shadow's power to overcome evil.[31][32] He says that they must enter the lands of the Dark Lords in order to unite the Heavens with the world again, and that with this Gabriel can bring Marie back from the dead.[33] Gabriel decides to leave for the Land of Lycans and asks Zobek to go to the Land of the Vampires to prepare, and that afterward they should go onto the Land of Necromancers together.[34]
Gabriel journeys to the Land of the Lycans and meets Claudia (Emma Ferguson[25]), a mute girl who can telepathically communicate and read minds.[35] In exchange for catching evil souls, she is protected by a golem called the Black Knight.[36] Claudia reads Gabriel's mind and discovers why he has travelled to the Land of the Lycans, and offers to help him.[37] They decide to rest and during the night, Gabriel stabs her and suddenly awakens from what was seemingly a dream. Pan materializes before Gabriel and tells him that he must take the Black Knight's gauntlet for his own benefit.[38]Gabriel exclaims he will not harm his two companions, but to his shock, notices the dagger is protruding from Claudia's corpse.[39] The Black Knight discovers this and attacks Gabriel, who both engage in a fight before Gabriel kills him and procures the gauntlet. Gabriel buries Claudia and continues the journey, eventually encountering the Dark Lord of the Lycans, Cornell (Richard Ridings[25]). Cornell defies Gabriel and tells him that three founding members of the Order fought the spawns of Satan in God's favour, and in their commitment to the crusade they found three places where God's power was intense. They used this to transform into the Spirits with power only second to God's, but when they ascended to the Heavens they left behind their dark sides. Cornell reveals what they left to be the Lords of Shadow, which includes himself.[40] Gabriel defeats Cornell and receives a piece of the God Mask, and is then taken by Pan to the Land of the Vampires.[41]
Gabriel rendezvous with Zobek in a village, and he enters the castle of the Vampire Dark Lord, Carmilla (Sally Knyvette[25]). A battle ensues between them and Gabriel kills her, gaining the second piece of the God Mask. Gabriel then departs for the Land of the Necromancers, and obtains the last part of the mask. Zobek then appears before Gabriel with the Devil Mask, who wears it over his face and discloses that he is the Lord of the Necromancers, and the one who cast the spell that separated the Earth from the Heavens. Zobek states he did this because he knew it would persuade the Order's founders in Heaven to contact the Brotherhood of Light, and that he grew tired of the Lords of Shadow diverting the power amongst the three of them and not seeing the potential they had in combining it. Desiring this power, he searched Hell until an evil force entered him and expanded his knowledge of the dark arts. Zobek says according to the prophecy, all he needed was for Gabriel to restore the power of the Spirits, while using him to avoid suspicion from them.[42] He mentions he used the Devil Mask on Gabriel to have him kill Claudia so he could take the Black Knight's gauntlet, which allowed him to control Gabriel if he ever became a threat to him. Zobek also used the mask on Gabriel to kill his wife Marie, orchestrating the events of the story.[43] Satan (Jason Isaacs) emerges and takes the God Mask from Zobek, revealing himself to be one responsible for granting him power and knowledge in Hell, and that he masterminded everything from the start so he could have revenge on God and go to the Heavens.[44][45] Gabriel confronts Satan and defeats him, releasing the dark spell that trapped the souls of the deceased in limbo. Before passing onto the Heavens, Marie tells Gabriel he has been granted new life to redeem himself, and that she loves him.[46][47] Gabriel asks if the God Mask can bring her back, but finds out it only allows the wearer to see through God's eyes. Marie says it is too late for her, and kisses Gabriel before departing with the God Mask.[48] After the ending credits, Zobek is seen alive centuries later during modern times, and has uncovered Gabriel living out an immortal life as a vampire. Zobek asks him why he has been hiding all this time, but he angrily retorts that he is no longer called Gabriel and that his name is nowDracula.[49] Zobek mentions the acolytes of Satan are preparing for his return and that they must stop him, before he takes revenge on both of them.[50] Before Gabriel disappears, Zobek tells him he will free him of his immortality if he helps him.[51]
The plot is to be continued in DLC titled Resurrection. Konami’s press materials say this DLC pack will be bigger than the first. It picks up the story directly after the end of the game and gives more insight into what happens to Gabriel. Resurrection also includes a "final showdown with a very notorious enemy.

Eugene Wilde - Gotta Get You Home Tonight -1984

Eugene Wilde (born Ronald Eugene Broomfield, 6 December 1961, West Palm Beach, MiamiFloridaUnited States[1]) is an American R&B singer and songwriter, who had two #1 hits on the U.S.soul charts in the 1980s.
Broomfield grew up as part of a family group, La Voyage, playing in local clubs. In the 1970s, the group became Tight Connection, and was later known as Simplicious. Broomfield also recorded analbum with Curtom Records in 1979 as a member of Today, Tomorrow, Forever.
On learning Broomfield's middle name was Eugene, his manager insisted that he go by that name professionally; the last name was inspired by Broomfield seeing an advertisement for a New York club named Wildflower's.[2]
In 1984, Eugene Wilde joined Philly World Records, and wrote and recorded his first hit, "Gotta Get You Home Tonight", which rose to #1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and also made #18 on the UK Singles Chart. After a couple of less successful follow-ups, he hit #1 again a year later with "Don't Say No Tonight." He also had some lesser hits, including "Diana" (1986). Subsequent releases on the MCA label, solo and with the group Cabo Frio, were less successful.
In 1985, Wilde appeared in the film Rappin' with Joanna Gardner, where they're seen performing the song, "First Love Never Dies," a duet that also appeared on the film's soundtrack.[3]
In 1987, he recorded a duet with Sheena Easton, "What If We Fall in Love," which appeared on Easton's albumNo Sound But a Heart.
He later ran the independent label Wilde City Records in Florida.
Starting in the 1990s, Wilde found success behind the scenes as a songwriter, having penned "I'll Never Break Your Heart" with Albert Manno for the Backstreet Boys.[4] He co-wrote album track "Dear Diary" with Jason Blume and Britney Spears for Spears's 2000 Oops!... I Did It Again.[5] He co-wrote the song "I Wish" with Peter Biker, and Kenneth Karlin and Carsten Schack (who are better known as the Danish production/songwriting duo Soulshock & Karlin)[6] for Victoria Beckham for her 2001 Victoria Beckham (album) -- which was planned as Beckham's third single, a duet with Robbie Craig, but was canceled. The song was in the film Bend It Like Beckham, whose title references Victoria's husband, David Beckham.[7]
In 2010, the Danish production duo of Rob Hardt and Frank Ryle, known as Cool Million, released the title song of their new CD, "Back for More," with Wilde providing the lead vocal, announced with ateaser video via their YouTube account, rylehardtmillion. "Back for More" was written by Wilde with Hardt, Ryle, and his son Du Juan.[8] This same group, along with Felix Luis Collazo II and Diane Williams, co-wrote another track, "Loose",[9] which features Wilde singing a duet with sister Dee Dee Wilde and also had a teaser YouTube video

1980's Hip Hop

Hip Hop is a fad
That was the famous  lines my mother gave me back in 1987 when I said I loved Hip Hop Music.  Now its 2011 and its popularity is still growing. I am not here to debate the authenticity of the the lyrics or its direction, just fact that it was a fad.. It has become a substantial Musical Genre, and will grow just like Rhythm and Blues and Rock did in the early 1950's.
As LL and many others did in the 80's the times are back and the 1980's hip hop Genre is alive and well.  The look and the style was reborn recently.  Watching the styles of today, its almost amazing to watch... Just like LL, i got my own members only jacket....
